great hospitality but limited dining options
The hosts were exceptionally warm and genuinely made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local produce with a lot of thoughtful variety. The double room was very spacious and provided stunning garden views, creating a peaceful atmosphere to unwind. Enjoying coffee while watching the birds just outside was a lovely touch!
The location, while tranquil, meant that reaching a decent restaurant required a bit of a drive.

Had a great stay with friends! We visited nearby attractions and enjoyed family-friendly activities. Breakfast was tasty, and hosts offered milk for tea—such a nice touch. Rooms were clean and comfy. Perfect spot to kick back after exploring!
The only downside was the rural location, which required a drive to find eateries, but we made it work.

At Stoke House Bed And Breakfast, the welcoming atmosphere created by the hosts, Robert and Nicki, made the stay truly special. The room was spotlessly clean and equipped with a lovely en suite shower, free Wi-Fi, and a comprehensive selection of tea and coffee. Each morning, the breakfast was a delight, offering a hearty full English alongside a selection of cereals and fruit. The views from the dining area were an added bonus, with birds feeding just outside the windows while enjoying breakfast.
A small armchair in the room would have been nice.

The views from the rooms are absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful escape into the countryside. Breakfast options are extensive, featuring local produce that rivals even the best galactic dining experiences.
The remoteness of the place means you're driving ten minutes just to find a decent meal, which can get old fast. Wi-Fi connectivity can be iffy at times, alongside water pressure issues in the showers. Towels seemed almost decorative—my shower didn't leave me feeling dry, no matter how many I used. Narrow access roads posed challenges. do yourself a favor and drive slow to dodge those pesky potholes.

Exceptional Hosts and Delicious Breakfasts
My stay was wonderful thanks to the exceptional hospitality from Robert and Nicki, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a fantastic variety including a hearty cooked option that left us satisfied for the day. The serene views of the surrounding countryside were a perfect backdrop to our relaxing getaway. One minor downside was the water pressure in the shower, which fluctuated a bit unexpectedly.

A warm welcome in the countryside
From the moment we arrived, Robert and Nikki welcomed us like family. The rooms exuded comfort, and breakfast featured hearty, fresh local produce. The surrounding views from the garden were breathtaking, creating a serene atmosphere to unwind with a complimentary coffee.
While the peacefulness was enchanting, the remote location meant driving several miles to reach local amenities. So, having a car is certainly necessary for sightseeing and food options.
